Raised floors for indoors and outdoors
Floating or raised floors is a system of modular units used for creating indoor and outdoor flooring for buildings, in a practical and functional way. It is a modern and highly effective technology as it makes it possible to create, under the walking surface, a continuous technical space where cables and connections are housed. The system allows for designing spaces with flexibility, through areas which guarantee access and the modification of the underlying network installations, the ability to change the layout of the spaces and quick maintenance.

Raised floors for indoors are specifically designed to meet the needs of modern working environments that demand extensive adaptability, without sacrificing the aesthetic characteristics of the various cladding materials used such as porcelain stoneware, marble and granite, parquet, linoleum, PCV, laminate and carpet.
In terms of raised floors for outdoor use, on the other hand, the floating surface becomes a solution capable of reinterpreting and renewing the space, making the most of the technical and aesthetic features of the ceramic material.
Raised floors for indoors
Raised floors are the ideal solution to the growing demand for flexibility and manageability of technical spaces. The modular panels are placed on a support structure in galvanised steel which is adjustable in height, creating a fully accessible space. The raised floor thus becomes a “technical space” used to house electrical and telephone systems, plumbing components and heating/cooling systems. The modular panels, laid without being fastened to the underlying structure, can be removed to facilitate access to technical equipment for maintenance or for any eventual changes, and then repositioned without compromising the integrity of the flooring.
The walking surface (or the visible part of the flooring) can be made in a wide range of highly resilient materials (PVC, linoleum, rubber), carpet, HPL laminates, parquet, stoneware, and natural or reconstructed marble and granite. Thanks to the many available finishes, the panels can satisfy every need, both technical and aesthetic, helping to create highly customised environments.
Raised floors for outdoors in ceramic
Self-supporting, easy to install, frost and water resistant, removable and serviceable. The solution is ideal for a wide range of needs including terraces, outdoor decking for bars and restaurants, walkways and outdoor spaces for commercial and residential buildings. The joints between the panels allow rainwater to flow into the underlying space, facilitating effective water drainage. The raised floors make it possible to easily inspect the underside for any eventual repairs of the insulating sleeve, while also facilitating the passage of cables and tubing.
Self-laying stoneware floors for indoors
Self-laying stoneware floors combine the beauty and strength of ceramics, with the practicality of dry laying. The stoneware rests directly on pre-existing indoor floors, both traditional and raised, flat and smooth. Self-laying flooring is available in a wide range of colours and finishes and is the ideal solution for restyling a space or for covering an unfinished raised floor. The installation does not require the use of adhesives or grouts. Easy and quick to install, the floor is immediately usable and can easily be removed and reused. Versatile and effective, it is available in many collections, finishes, sizes and surfaces. The recommended format is 60 × 60 cm.
